MURRAY, Ky. – Dave Lefebre and Chris Baumgardner moved to the top of the leader board at the FLW Tour tournament on Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley with catches of 23 pounds 15 ounces and 22 pounds 15 ounces, respectively, Saturday.
Ten pros advanced to Sunday’s finals but Baumgardner and Lefebre, at 58-0 and 57-14, have very much made it a two man race. Jim Moynagh, the Day 2 leader, is in third place at 53-13.
No surprises in the co-angler finals. Casey Martin opened the tournament with a 22 pound 12 ounce limit Thursday and lead wire-to-wire, wrapping up Saturday with a 13-13 limit. Martin’s share of the purse: $25,000.
